Titanium is the absolute protagonist of a training day organized by Tag and Tecmet 2000 which will be held on Wednesday 3 October from 9 to 18 at Tecmet 2000 in Corsico (MI), via Monferrato 5.
Tag is a company founded in 1988 with the aim of creating a pole of excellence in the field of high-tech heat treatments that operates in the fields of vacuum heat treatment, nitriding and ionic nitrocarburization, t-oxi oxidation, subcooling, stripping, vacuum brazing, aluminization, non-destructive testing and metallurgical analysis.
Tecmet 2000 is a company present on the measurement and control instruments market since 1983 and thanks to the experience acquired it can count on this day on the engineer Andrea Trombetta of TAG in staff in the Cremella laboratory.
From this synergy the program and the sharing of know-how on titanium is born, starting from an overview of the main properties up to the observation of significant examples under an optical microscope.
The day will be developed in four moments and its objectives are to provide basic knowledge related to titanium alloys, verify compliance, choose the most appropriate material and heat treatment, obtain characteristics according to the application.
Titanium is mainly used in the automotive, dental, valve and aerospace sectors.
