IMA Digital is the IMA group project related to the production of automatic machines for processing and packaging pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food products.

Attentive to the challenges posed by digitization to industry, IMA represents an excellence in support and guidance to the world 4.0.

Leveraging on the digital technology opportunities, IMA machines are able to collect and manage data, as well as return them and exchange them with external systems.

Do not underestimate the fact that these machines can benefit from the measures implemented by the 2017 Budget Law.

IMA has been working on this path since 2013 when introduced the first  technology based based products line.

During the workshop presentation  held at the Service Center of IMA, Alberto Vacchi, president of the group and of Confindustria Emilia, said that

“IMA Digital is our path to the full implementation of 4.0 Our interpretation has been broad, covering, in a multifaceted and multi-year project, the competition for the design and design of intelligent machines in increasingly intelligent factories. to save our true strength – added Vacchi – that gives quality and reliability to the products and services we offer. In this sense we have responded to the demands of the working world, to discuss together the effects of 4.0 on work and the need for new shared and consistent training programs to face the challenges that markets launch us “.

The state-of-the-art solutions that allow you to connect the latest generation management and control systems with the management of customers in order to plan production, monitor and analyze data in real time are always updated by the staff in order to identify for each case the areas of intervention to improve productivity.

Ima is now at work in the packaging sector, on enhanced and customized machines and services to offer an even wider range of opportunities in industry 4.0

Introduced for the first time at INTERPACK 2017, IMA DIGITAL is the new company’s comprehensive project to tackle the digitization challenge that is transforming the manufacturing world. Businesses face unprecedented disruption. You can dig deeper in IMA on their official website.
