ITPS 2014 from October 27 to 28
The first ITPS was held successfully last year in Dusseldorf, Germany. 147 Participants from 16 different countries and exhibitors used the conference as a welcome opportunity to hold in-depth exchanges of ideas and information for the thermo process industry. Since, the thermo process industry is going through radical changes with the downturn in the global economy, this year, the industry demanded to hold the ITPS 2014 from October 27 to 28 in an emerging economy like India.
Increasing energy costs, reducing the carbon footprints, finding alternate inputs using state of the art automation levels and optimising furnace outputs are key concerns before the entire industry. The challenges are varied and many ranging from policy making, deadlocks, delay in legal framework as well as speedy implementation of green field & brown field projects. Keeping such issues in mind, we are gearing up to host ITPS 2014 in the commercial capital of Mumbai overlooking the Arabian Sea. With the world economy expected to bounce back by the year 2015, the optimism in European economies like Germany are evident on the ground and the US is also expected to perform better in the coming months. While emerging economies like India are expected to drive the global economy, ITPS 2014 aptly choose India as a venue where the new federal govt. has recently announced quite a few policies to place the economy back on track and for speedy implementation of the ongoing and the stalled projects while simultaneously announcing the new projects.
