Amazon, as we all know, has become a commodity and the COVID emergency has actually accelerated its penetration into the lives of each of us.
Here it is the same company that takes care of expanding its staff in the part of the procedure that passes from our “proceed to purchase” to the receipt of the items.
Amazon Italy is launching a program that will support aspiring entrepreneurs who wish to start a delivery business.
In addition, of course, to the orders to be delivered, the offer includes access to training, technologies, discounts on goods and services such as the van or insurance.
Those who enter the Amazon Italy program will have access to special conditions also for vehicle rental, insurance coverage, instrumentation for deliveries, uniforms for drivers, the payroll management system.
In addition to this, it is possible to count on accounting and tax assistance, on support for the selection of drivers and other services.
Particular attention is paid by Amazon Italy to the green aspect which is part of the company’s objectives. In this regard, an agreement was signed with Mercedes-Benz to make 1,800 electric vehicles available for this program at European level. There are 100 destined for Italy.
Speaking of turnover estimates, the company itself provides the numbers: between 60 and 140 thousand euros per year with a fleet ranging from a minimum of 20 to a maximum of 40 vehicles.
The final aim is obviously to have new delivery service providers in Italy and to create new collaborations in the logistics sector.
At the moment the program has already helped more than 1,300 people in the United States, Canada, Spain and Germany: with their companies they have already created 85,000 jobs for drivers and a calculated profit of 4.5 billion dollars.
